Been seeing doctor Cameron now for a few months. Doc is a very knowledgeable chiropractor. He hosts some additional learning discussions every month. The added exercises that he has recommended for me have definitely helped me feel better.

I had my first appointments with Dr. Cameron Gilbert this month and He.Is.Excellent!! He’s a one man show who has hung his shingle in the old Algonquin Chamber office on Algonquin Road right by where Nationwide & Scooby-Doo’s is. It’s called Renew Chiro. He’s a young guy who takes an “old school” approach (that I love) with adjustments. He believes in traction and regular adjustments, and takes x-rays on the first visit. He did a full consultation and health/posture/aches & pains assessment and history, and then did these OUT OF THIS WORLD adjustments on me. And I am not a small woman. There was this really cool mid-thoracic “thing” that happened and then the neck adjustments SOUNDED loud and intense in my head, but really the movement was very subtle. I would call his style “heavy handed” and “firm” but not aggressive. You can tell he’s being careful, but he’s not playing. He even called me that night after my adjustments – because they were insane – I actually felt immediately “different” in the thoracic and neck – just to make sure I was still feeling good and recommended some ice and self care. Who does that?? 5 Star Service providers and committed professionals do. Thank you Dr. Cam for helping me and my jacked up neck!

I had Sciatica pain so bad that I had made an appt with a pain management dr. There was a 6 week wait for an appt. I started seeing Dr. Cam and within a month or so I hardly notice the leg pain anymore. I feel so much better now. Kept the appt with the pain management dr. but am not going to do the Cortisone injections they suggested. I’m sure my pain will only keep improving with my visits at the ReNew Health Center. I was referred to ReNew Health Center by family, and I am really glad I decided to heed their advice. On my initial visit, Dr. Cameron Gilbert and I had a very relaxed conversation about my symptoms (a knot in my upper back that for months couldn’t be relieved with analgesics, massage, stretching or exercise). He then shot some xrays of my full spine and immediately reviewed them with me and pointed out problem areas. Treatment started the following visit and I felt almost instant decrease in pain and range of motion. Dr. Cameron will absolutely work with your schedule (mine is rather unconventional), easily rescheduling and even calling if you miss an appointment just to make sure everything is alright. Treatments, adjustments, etc occur in a very friendly and social environment, and Rachel in the office always has a great attitude! I’m so impressed and satisfied with my own experience that I’ve personally referred several of my friends and co-workers to Dr. Gilbert, which is something I generally don’t do unless I really believe in the product or service. Dr. Cam has been a lifesaver! In the past, I have received only adjustment for my back. The combination of adjustment, therapeutic exercise, and traction is what sets this apart.
